We are at STEP 4 (Step 4 Vertical Wall Erection: Concrete Block and Masonry) of the Calendar of Activities agreed upon on May 18, 2023.
Below is a summary of activities completed during the previous period.
1. Laying cement blocks, Block 4 (Classrooms 4-6), 100% complete
2. Steel columns installation, Block 5 (Kitchen/Cafeteria), 50% complete.
This week, we began installing the steel columns in building 5.
-Laying cement blocks on floor beams, Block 5, 0% complete
-Steel reinforcement for intermediate chain beam, Block 5, 50% complete
-Formwork for intermediate chain beam, Block 5, 0% complete
-Concrete pouring for intermediate chain beam, Block 5, 0% complete
-Transportation of steel rebar from Leogane to Tavet’s depot, 8,000 lbs, 100% complete
-Transport of 15 sheets of plywood, 35 wood planks 2*4*16, 2 boxes of nails, 5 saw blades, 5 boxes of concrete nails 3 ‘, 4 wire ties (rebar stirrups) from Leogane to Tavet, 100% complete
-Transport of 1000 cement blocks size 15 from Petit-Goave to Tavet, 100% complete
-Overall percentage of work completed :
38.50%
