Week 42 (April 3-10, 2024)

Recap:
-We are still at STEP 4 (Step 4 Vertical Wall Erection: Concrete Block and Masonry) of the Calendar of Activities agreed upon on May 18, 2023.
Below is a summary of activities completed during the previous period.
-Steel reinforcement of door and window lintels, Block 1 (Administration) & Block 2 (Library/Computer Lab), 100% completed
-Formwork for doors, windows, and lintels, Blocks 1 & 2, 80% complete.
-The carpenters have manufactured and installed the formwork for the door and window lintels.
-Concrete pouring doors, windows, and lintels, Blocks 1 & 2, 50% complete
- Scaffolding of Blocks 1 & 2, Block 4 (Classrooms 4-6), 100% completed
-Backfilling and compacting Block 4, 50% complete
-Construction site cleaning
-Sand preparation for concrete pouring, 100% complete
-Transported 60 cement bags from the pulley to the site
-Transported 111 rebar profile 2/4 and 123 rebar 2/2 for roofing.
-The rebar were transported from Léogane to Tavet for metal roofing. This activity was not included in this week’s work schedule.
-Laying cement blocks, Block5 (Kitchen/Cafeteria), 100% complete
